Glanvilles was established in 1919 by Mr Glanville Senior as a retail business selling to the farming community. Business then called for a high level of service. Glanvilles is still run and owned by the Glanville family and has maintained a reputation for service, quality and design. You can expect expert advice from both our cookware and Lighting staff ensuring that you can purchase from us with confidence.
Times are changing. With the development of Glanvilles online business we are meeting new and interesting challenges and reaching more customers than ever before. We are not the first housewares retailer to embrace online business but we will make it our ongoing mission to provide the same great service to our online customers as we do in our shop.
HERE ARE SOME DIRECTIONS TO HELP YOU FIND GET TO GLANVILLES:
FROM BODMIN – Pass Trelawney Garden Centre on your right hand side and then take the next left towards Wadebridge and Egloshayle. Carry on along Egloshayle Road, over the speed bumps till you come to a mini-roundabout. Take the first exit left over the bridge. Now in Wadebridge, approach another mini-roundabout and take the first exit left. After 20m turn right into Polmorla Road we are the first shop on the left-hand side.
FROM TRURO – Travelling along the A39, pass the Royal Cornwall Showground on your right hand side. Take the next right after 500m signposted “Wadebridge Town Centre”. Pass Tesco on your right hand side, down the hill until you meet a mini-roundabout. Take the first exit left and continue down the hill to another mini-roundabout. Take the third exit (first is a supermarket and second is the Camel Trail). Continue along Eddystone Road till you come to a mini-roundabout then take the second exit (straight across). After 20m turn right into Polmorla Road we are the first shop on the left-hand side.
FROM CAMELFORD – Travelling along the A39 from Camelford, pass the St.Kew Services on your right-hand side. Approximately 7km further on you approach a roundabout. Take the second exit, straight across, towards Wadebridge town centre. Go on down the hill and approach a mini roundabout. Take the second exit straight across and continue over the speed humps and down the hill. Approach another mini-roundabout and take the second exit over the bridge into Wadebridge. Now in Wadebridge, approach another mini-roundabout and take the first exit left. After 20m turn right into Polmorla Road. Glanvilles is the first shop on the left hand side.
